Biography:
Gene Kubicki founded the firm in 1962. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1954 and Notre Dame Law School in 1957. He began his career as an attorney in 1960 and specialized in medical malpractice, products liability and complex general litigation. Under his leadership and direction, the firm grew dramatically over the years, now providing statewide service for its clients in Florida and the southern parts of Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama. Mr. Kubicki has served on the Board of Trustees at Holy Cross College in South Bend, Indiana, and, since 1986, has been on the Advisory Council at the Notre Dame Law School. He served on the President's Development Committee at Notre Dame during three campaigns, one of which exceeded its goal of one billion dollars by several hundred million. He acted as Chairman of the Fund Raising Committee at Epiphany Church in Miami which brought in over twelve million dollars in contributions to build a new church. Mr. Kubicki is a member of The American Board of Trial Advocates. Although retired, Mr. Kubicki still comes in often to visit, but enjoys spending time in the Florida Keys.
