Biography:
Garrett Biondo is a distinguished trial attorney. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a finance degree. He studied economics at Cambridge University in Cambridge, England, before attending The University of Miami School of Law on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship.
Mr. Biondo has held numerous high-level leadership positions in legal organizations on a local, statewide and national level. He is a Past-President of the Miami-Dade County Bar Association – the largest voluntary bar association in the state of Florida with an active membership of over 4,000 attorneys. He previously served as President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Miami-Dade County Bar Association during the 2006-2007 term. He is a past member of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division’s Board of Governors. He also served two consecutive terms on the Board of Directors of the Florida Justice Association (FJA).
He was also honored to serve as President of the Florida Justice Association’s Young Lawyers Section during the 2007-2008 term. In addition, he has served on the Board of the Miami-Dade Justice Association and the New Lawyers Division of the American Association of Justice.
Mr. Biondo is also committed to civic and community affairs. He is a Past-President of the Board of Directors of Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. (LSGMI) – a non-profit law firm committed to Equal Justice. LSGMI is the largest provider of free legal services to low income residents of Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. During his term as President, Mr. Biondo oversaw a 40 member Board and the general operations of LSGMI.
