Biography:
Mr. Lundeen, a partner in the Miami office, brings a wealth of experience in complex litigation including medical malpractice, dental malpractice, products liability, premises liability and automobile liability to Wicker Smith. He was a prominent and wellrespected litigator in South and Central Florida for 26 years prior to joining the firm in 2011. Mr. Lundeen was a state certified paramedic providing hands-on emergency medical care to patients in a wide variety of clinical settings for the seven years prior to beginning his legal career. His extensive background in emergency services has proven to be a valuable asset in his law practice, which primarily focuses on defending physicians, physicians assistants’, ARNPs, hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in medical malpractice cases involving serious debilitating injuries, alleged brain injury or death. He also has experience handling Healthcare regulatory matters, including licensure investigations and discipline proceedings for healthcare facilities and licensed healthcare practitioners. Admitted to practice before all courts in the state of Florida and the United States District Court in the Southern District of Florida, he is an active member of the Florida Bar, American Bar Association and the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Lundeen’s achievements have been recognized by his peers, earning him an AV® Preeminent™ rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating awarded to attorneys. He has been honored to speak at multiple local and national meetings relating to issues of law and medicine A native of Florida, Mr. Lundeen matriculated at Vanderbilt University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1976. He obtained his law degree from the University of Miami in 1985.
